Childhood Dreams – Discussion Salon

We hosted a vibrant discussion salon in English on July 4th, our second collaborative event with Kizuna Collective. Despite the short notice of less than a week, we were delighted to welcome 11 attendees from 9 different nationalities. We enjoyed engaging in lively small-group chats using thought-provoking prompts, followed by enriching whole-group sharing.

This time, our focus was on sharing childhood dreams and celebrating the diverse paths we've taken in life. Participants enthusiastically shared stories about the people and experiences that influenced their career journeys, adding depth to our inspiring conversation.

One of the primary goals of these events is to foster social interaction. Given the challenges posed by Covid-19, face-to-face communication has become increasingly important for everyone. We have observed the success of this interaction, as attendees often continue engaging in conversations even after the event concludes. Several attendees have also taken the opportunity to spend time together in Shimokitazawa after the event. We aim to continue offering these events to contribute to building a globally-minded community.
